Shaped nappies

Shaped Nappies are very straight forward and easy to use. Shaped like a disposable so that it just wraps around your baby, often with elasticised legs and waist which is good at containing poo, especially in a new baby. They come in all kinds of fabrics and colours and can fasten with poppers, applix (like Velcro), or with the use of the nappy nippa. Sized nappies may fit more snugly and have a longer life than the one size nappy.

You may need three or more different sizes when buying, but this would be worth it especially if you are planning to use them for subsequent children. There are different weights of nappy available although it is easy to add absorbency with a booster. You can use your choice of liner although some nappies that are fleece lined or have one sewn in you may not need to. Then you just need your wrap to provide the water proof layer of your nappy.
